About Age of the Dogs Slot
Playtech's Age of the Gods series gets the parody treatment here, the Greek pantheon recast as cartoon dogs lounging on a sunny Mount Olympus. Zeus is a wide-eyed pug, Poseidon a fluffy crowned Pomeranian, Ares a Doberman in a red war plume, with Hermes as a grey hound in a winged helm and Artemis a bug-eyed pug. The grid sits inside a golden pergola bordered in Greek-key trim, marble temples fading into a pastel pink-and-blue sky behind it, a brazier flaming off to one side. Coloured gems and divine banner symbols, the trident, the caduceus, the hammer-and-shield, do the paying, and wins form as clusters of five or more matching symbols touching in any direction. Winners collapse, fresh symbols drop into the gaps, and the chain keeps running while clusters keep forming.
The four dog-gods each do something different. Ares lands and grows the board by a row and a reel before turning Wild, which is how a 7x7 start climbs toward its 10x10 ceiling; once it's maxed he just drops in as a Wild without stretching it. Hermes sprints across the grid scattering up to ten Wilds in random spots, then bolts back to his landing square, exploding with any symbols those Wilds paid. Artemis picks up to three symbol types and morphs them all into one chosen type, then explodes if that builds a win. Poseidon is the slow-burn one: he starts a respin that locks every winning cluster and swaps out everything else, and as long as new clusters form, existing ones grow, or a Wild or Scatter lands, he hands you another respin before exploding at the end. The regular Wild covers everything except the Scatter and the dogs themselves.
Three Scatters trigger the Free Games, and three is also the most that can land in a single spin, so there's no getting there any faster. Instead of a fixed award you pick from five options, each pairing a minimum spin count with a guaranteed number of dogs per spin, plus a mystery pick that rolls a random one of the others. Three Scatters during the round top your spins back up. The growing board matters most inside the bonus, since a run of Ares hits can leave you playing a full 10x10 cluster grid with dogs guaranteed on every spin, which is where the 3,462.4x ceiling lives. Barking Bets raises your stake for better odds of the dogs and the bonus turning up, or you skip the wait and buy the Free Games directly.
