About Disco Dawgs Slot

The dog with top billing in the base game isn't the one on the logo, it's the Pug. When this Light & Wonder machine drops a Pug Wild onto reels two through five, it sticks around for five spins and trots to a new random position between each one. A walking wild that books its own five-spin engagement at the stake you triggered it on, and changes its mind about where to stand every spin in between. Change your bet mid-run and the Pug clocks off until you set the stake back. Buy your way into the bonus while it's still walking and the Pug picks back up where it left off afterwards, which is a nice piece of bookkeeping you don't always see honoured.

The Pomeranian handles the multiplier side of things. She lands in the base game only, carries a 2x or 3x tag, subs for everything except the bonus bone, and when she helps build more than one winning line she pays on each of them with her multiplier attached. A logo wild sits at the top of the paytable as the straight-up substitute, and there's nothing fancy about it - it's just the highest-paying icon on the grid, with the Pug and Pomeranian doing the trick work around it.

The trigger is a bonus bone, three or more anywhere on the reels, and it pays out up to fifteen free spins depending on how many scatters drop. Inside the round the Pug and Pomeranian step out and Dax the dachshund takes over. He only shows on reels two, three and four, but every Dax that lands carries a 3x or 4x multiplier and stays put for the rest of the bonus, only shuffling to new spots between spins. Up to nine of them can populate the centre columns, and here's the part worth dwelling on: those multipliers are multiplicative against each other. Two Dax wilds on the same line at 3x and 4x give you 12x, not 7x. Stack the centre with enough of them and the math runs steep, which is how a title with a friendly cartoon disco face reaches a 17,413x ceiling. No retriggers, so what you land in the first wave is what you get.

For 200x your stake the Buy Pass button on the left of the cabinet skips the wait and drops you directly into Disco Free Spins, with the spin count rolled from a simulated three, four or five scatter trigger. The dressing is unrepentant 70s disco: a pink-bordered cabinet glowing with bulb lights, a tiled dance floor in purple, teal and green underfoot, silhouetted cocktail tables in the background, and a paytable headed by a vintage turntable, a red dog bowl heaped with gold coins, and a red leather collar with a paw-print tag. Released June 2022 under the new L&W banner from what used to be SG Digital, and it leans harder on its wilds than most dog-themed slots leaning on cuteness.
