Easter Eggspedition is Rocco Gallo wearing an Easter costume. Play'n GO took the Italian rooster slot's math model, features, and bonus structure, swapped every graphic for Easter eggs and cartoon bunnies, and released it in March 2024. Same 5x3 grid, same 20 paylines, same Cash Pot mechanic, same respin bonus. If you've played Rocco Gallo, you've played this.
The 5x3 layout hosts card ranks (10 through A) in the low tier and themed symbols in the high tier: candy bowls, painting kits, egg pots, and signposts paying 10x to 25x for five-of-a-kind. Super Bunny serves as the wild at 50x for five and substitutes for everything except scatters. Straightforward paytable, nothing unusual.
Every base game spin, 2 Easter Egg Baskets are guaranteed to appear on the reels. This is the game's defining twist. Most scatter-triggered bonuses leave you watching empty reels for dozens of spins between triggers. Here, you start each spin already two-thirds of the way to the bonus threshold. You only need one more basket to land naturally.
This doesn't mean you trigger every few spins - the third basket still needs to land on its own, and it can take a while. But sessions feel noticeably more active than typical collect-mechanic slots. The bonus triggers often enough to maintain engagement even during cold stretches.
Three or more baskets start the Instant Prize Bonus with 3 respins. Easter Egg Baskets hatch to reveal instant prizes (0.5x, 1x, 2x, 5x, or 10x bet) that accumulate in the Cash Pot displayed above the reels. x2 multipliers can appear too, doubling the entire pot. Every new basket resets respins back to 3, up to a maximum of 155 total respins.
The Cash Pot grows but never pays out automatically. You need Super Bunny to land during the bonus to collect it. Here's what makes it interesting: collecting the pot doesn't reset it. The Cash Pot keeps growing after collection, and if Super Bunny lands again, you collect the new total again. Multiple collections within a single bonus round is where the 10,000x ceiling comes from.
Then there's the fox. Foxy Loot appears during the bonus and resets the Cash Pot to zero. Everything you've been building - gone. If Super Bunny and Foxy Loot land simultaneously, Super Bunny takes priority and you collect first. But if the fox shows up alone while you're sitting on a fat pot waiting for the bunny, that pot evaporates.
The Foxy Loot mechanic creates genuine tension during bonus rounds. Watching a 200x Cash Pot build while knowing the fox could wipe it is more engaging than most hold-and-respin bonuses manage. The pot-doesn't-reset-on-collection rule means a lucky sequence of Super Bunny hits can snowball into serious returns.
But medium volatility and a 6,000x Cash Pot cap keep things grounded. The remaining 4,000x to reach the 10,000x max win needs base game payline wins stacking on top of bonus payouts - a combination that reviewers describe as theoretical rather than realistic. Sessions tend toward steady small-to-medium returns rather than explosive peaks.
The seasonal theme limits its shelf life. Casinos promote it around Easter and rotate it out after. If you enjoy the Cash Pot mechanic and don't mind the holiday theme, the guaranteed scatters make it more trigger-friendly than most competitors. Otherwise, Rocco Gallo offers the same math without the seasonal expiration date.
