If you play a lot of Pragmatic Play slots, Kadita Ocean Fury is going to give you major déjà vu. People are debating whether it's a direct clone of Wisdom of Athena or Magical Moon, and nobody has settled which. You've got the same 6x5 grid, the same tumble mechanics, and the same 5,000x max win.
The only weird thing about this one is that it seems to be an operator-exclusive (you won't find it on Pragmatic's public site), and they slapped a "low volatility" badge on it. After playing it, I'm not sure how much that label tells you: seven reviewers rate it high, and my own session could have belonged to either.

The Vibe
It's a pretty standard underwater theme. You've got Kadita, an armored sea goddess with a trident, hanging out next to the reels. The symbols are your usual mix of colored gems, potions, scrolls, and crowns. The most important thing on the screen, though, is the blocked-off top row that counts down how many tumbles you need to unlock it.
(For the stat nerds: RTP sits at around 96.07%, and you can bet anywhere from 0.20 to 240 a spin).

How It Plays (and Why the Base Game is Frustrating)
This is a "scatter pays" game, meaning you just need 8 matching symbols anywhere on the screen to win. When you do, they pop, and new symbols tumble down.
The catch? Without multipliers, the base game payouts are tiny. Hitting 8 potions just gives you your money back, and the gems pay even less. You're mostly just winning back fractions of your bet.
Then there's the locked top row. It opens up one spot at a time as you get consecutive tumbles. The first spot opens after just one tumble, which is easy enough. But to unlock the whole row, you need an insane 46 tumbles in a single sequence. And in the base game, the row resets after every single spin. In my session it mostly just flickered open and shut without ever reaching the second spot.

Multipliers: The Good, the Bad, and the Bonus
Multipliers can drop randomly, ranging from 2x up to 500x. But in the base game, they can be deeply frustrating. If a multiplier lands on a screen where nothing connects, it's worthless and just vanishes. I watched a sweet 6x drop on a dead board and give me nothing.
However, everything changes in the Bonus Round.

You can trigger 10 free spins by landing 4 scatters (or you can just buy the bonus for 100x your bet). There's also an Ante bet feature that costs 25% extra per spin to add more scatters to the reels, though weirdly, this lowers the max win cap to 4,000x.
Once you're in the free spins, the game actually gets good. The top row stops resetting, so any spots you unlock stay open for the rest of the round. Better yet, the multipliers become global. If a 4x drops on a dead spin, it doesn't disappear; it gets added to your total multiplier for the rest of the feature. This turns those previously frustrating dead-spin multipliers into permanent upgrades.
The base game is a bit of a snooze fest. I spun a couple dozen times just watching cheap gems pop and getting nowhere.

But the bonus round totally redeems it. Because the top row stays unlocked and the multipliers stack up, you can actually see a massive win building. I bought a bonus round and made my 100x buy-in back with a little to spare, and close to half of the total came from one spin.
Whatever the badge on the intro screen says, my base game was a long run of dead spins, and everything worth talking about happened in the free spins.
