About Hot to Burn Extreme Slot
The original Hot to Burn is a 5x3, 5-payline game with no features at all. This "Extreme" version bumps the grid to 5x4 and the paylines to 40, but the real addition is the wild - a fireball that expands to fill its entire reel when it lands. On a 4-row grid, that's four substitute positions feeding into 40 active lines. Stack two expanding wilds on adjacent reels during the same spin and you're covering eight of twenty symbol positions with substitutes. The stacked wilds work separately - regular wild symbols appear in groups on the reels before expanding, so a reel might already show two or three wilds in a column before the expansion triggers and fills the remaining gaps.
Gold star scatters trigger the free spins round: three land for 10 spins, four for 15, five for 20. The round retrigggers on the same terms if enough scatters drop during the bonus, and the expanding wild mechanic carries over unchanged. For 100x, the buy option jumps straight into the feature. The symbols themselves are all classic fruit machine fare - glossy oversized strawberries, cherries, oranges, watermelon slices, lemons, plums - with red sevens and a joker sitting at the top of the paytable. Everything is rendered thick and saturated against a dark charcoal backdrop, with tall orange flames licking up both sides of the grid and the "EXTREME" subtitle in chrome lettering beneath the main logo.
Compared to the other Hot to Burn variants, this one sits in the middle - more going on than the original's bare-bones line pays, but simpler than the Multiplier version's escalating bonus. The expanding wilds give the base game something to actually watch for, and 40 paylines on a 4-row grid means those expansions connect more often than you'd expect from a medium volatility fruit slot.
