About Muerto's Fortuna Slot

Three scatters don't just start free spins - they start a two-level wheel. The outer ring picks how many spins you get (7, 10, 15, or 20), and the inner ring picks which wild type stays active for the entire round. Expanding, Shifting, or Sticky. One selection, locked in, no switching mid-feature. That single wheel spin shapes the entire bonus before a single free spin even fires.

Each wild type plays differently enough to feel like a separate bonus mode. Expanding wilds stretch to fill whatever reel they land on, which on 25 paylines creates chain reactions across multiple lines at once. Shifting wilds start on the right side and crawl left one reel per spin - land one early and it covers ground across most of your free spins. Sticky wilds just stay put. Every wild that appears accumulates on the grid, and by the back half of a 15 or 20-spin run the board gets crowded. Sticky is probably the most volatile of the three since early spins feel dead but late spins compound hard.

A multiplier trail runs along the top of the grid: x1, x2, x3 in the base game, extending to x4 and x6 during free spins. Consecutive wins push it forward. Miss once and it resets. In the base game, getting past x2 is rare since you need three wins in a row. But in free spins - especially with Sticky wilds stacking up - hitting x6 becomes a real possibility because the board is generating wins almost every spin by that point.

Zillion Games has a handful of Dia de los Muertos titles in their catalog, and this one leans hard into the altar aesthetic. Stone archway wrapped in red, purple, and blue roses. Cartoon skull totems with glowing green eyes flanking both sides of the reels. Candles everywhere. The wild symbol itself is a woman in traditional face paint and a red dress, and the scatter is a sugar skull in a purple sombrero. When free spins trigger, the whole backdrop shifts from deep purple to green and teal, which at least makes it obvious you're in the bonus.
