Each installment in the Oxygen series swaps out the headline creatures while keeping the positional multiplier system intact. This time it's the Clam - a wild that cracks open when part of a winning cluster and triggers one of three sub-features. Pearl picks a symbol type and makes every instance sticky while other symbols cascade out and refill, looping as long as more of that type or wilds keep dropping. Squid crawls across the grid leaving a wild on each position it touches until it walks off the edge. Starfish is the disruptive one: it rotates, clears payout symbols in its path, bumps up positional multipliers, and chain-activates any feature symbols it crosses, including other Clams. A single Starfish landing near an Exploding Wild or Blaster Wild kicks off the kind of chain reaction that reshapes half the board.

The 25x X-iter tier, labeled Clam Chowder, is specific to this entry. It doesn't buy a bonus round - just one loaded drop with three guaranteed Clams on the grid. Whether three Clam activations generate enough wild interactions to justify 25x depends entirely on which sub-features fire and where they land. At 100x and 250x, you buy straight into the Bonus or Super Bonus with 10 drops each. The Bonus Hunt tiers (2.5x and 5x) just increase trigger odds during normal play.

Oxygen Bubbles still work the same way they have since the original. Win on a position, a bubble appears. Win there again, it doubles - x2, x4, x8, x16, continuing upward. Base game bubbles reset each round. Bonus bubbles persist across all 10 drops, and the Oxygen Meter adds more of them: fill the meter through winning combinations and it places or upgrades a cluster of multiplier bubbles on the grid. Super Bonus does the same but with larger bubble clusters per meter fill. Retriggers add 3 drops for two Bonus symbols, 5 for three.

Six different wild types coexist on this grid. Regular Wilds substitute. Clams open into features. Exploding Wilds detonate in a cone pattern (vertical or horizontal), clearing symbols for a refill. Blaster Wilds convert surrounding symbols in an X or Plus shape into one matching type - and if two Blaster conversions overlap the same position, it becomes a wild instead. Symbols also drop in oversized formats up to 4x4, which means a single high-pay symbol covers 16 of the grid's 42 positions and counts as 16 individual cluster members. When a 4x4 premium lands next to a Blaster Wild converting neighbors to match, clusters form that would be impossible at standard symbol scale.
