A masked raccoon robs a sleeping city, and nearly everything worth having is locked inside the vault he is heading for. The base game is a plain 5x5 with 15 fixed lines paying left to right, and its best symbol, a blue diamond, pays 12x for a full row of five. The Heist Bonus is what the 10,000x ceiling actually hangs on.

That round swaps the paying symbols out entirely. The grid turns into locked keyholes, five multiplier plaques appear above the reels at 1x each, and only Raider symbols drop in. Whatever those Raiders do to the plaques gets summed at the end and paid against the bet.

RTP is 95.6% whether you spin in or buy in. There is no ante and no side bet, which is worth flagging because several of Booming's current releases carry one.

Flat cartoon, not the rendered 3D Booming Games usually ships, and it lands better than that description suggests. The scene is a rooftop at night: a big pale moon top right, navy skyscrapers with yellow lit windows, stylised clouds, a concrete parapet and an air-con unit shoved in the corner. The raccoon stands on a stack of crates to the left of the reels in a striped burglar shirt, flat cap and gloves, swag sack over one shoulder, grinning at nobody in particular. The logo overhead spells RACCOON with the two O's as his mask and eyes.

The grid sits in a thin blue neon frame against pure black, and that black does a lot of work. Symbols pop off it: a big faceted diamond, a sack spilling coins and gems, a stack of gold bars, a steel watch with a blue dial, a pearl necklace with a teardrop, and outlined block-letter A K Q J in red, purple, blue and green. The scatter is a chunky steel cube with a gold sunburst dial and BONUS stamped under it. Once the bonus starts the rooftop is gone and the game moves inside the vault, coins pouring out of the open door behind a grid of locked deposit plates.

The base game moves fast and stays quiet. Three payout tiers cover the whole grid, so line hits arrive inside a narrow band and none of them shift a session much. What you watch instead is reels 1, 3 and 5, because that is the only place a safe can land. A trigger becomes a shape you recognise rather than a count you total up.

The middle three reels carry a different tension. A badge drops on reel 3 with its number hidden, and whether it was a x2 or a x5 only matters if the outer reels already gave it something to multiply. Plenty of them land and stay blank. That is the design, not bad luck.

Then the plaques. A round that resets its respin counter on every new Raider is a chain, and the whole feel of it is whether that chain keeps going or dies on the third spin with two small numbers hanging over two reels. With a floor of 2x, a bought round can resolve almost immediately and leave you 88x down. That is the honest trade in this game: the base play asks almost nothing of you, and the bonus asks for everything in one go.

The idea is better than the paytable. A hold-and-win round that collects nothing in the cells and instead builds five multipliers above the reels, with two of the four Raiders hitting all five plaques at once, is a tidier piece of design than most cash-collect rounds, and the upgrade chain gives it somewhere to go. The base game is a delivery mechanism for that round and never pretends to be anything else.

What holds it back is the 95.6% return and the cost of admission. 90x for a round with a 2x floor is steep, and without an ante there is no middle setting between grinding 15 fixed lines and paying full freight. Good feature, thin game around it, and how much you get from it probably comes down to how comfortable you are buying rounds at that price. It is also brand new with no published volatility figure, so the shape of it is still something you read off the maths rather than off any track record.
