A Boring Base Game on Purpose

Rock Vegas plays its 5x3 base game straight. Twenty paylines, nine regular symbols with decent but unremarkable payouts (150 coins for five of a kind on the top symbol), no wilds, no modifiers, no random features. Some rock symbols land with a key icon. Keys feed into a collection trail displayed at the bottom of the screen. Reaching a chest on the trail awards one of five possible prizes: a rock value multiplied by a random 0.5x to 500x factor, a direct money award between 10x and 500x your total bet, 4 to 10 additional keys, a general multiplier of 2x to 100x applied to the entire round's total win, or a retrigger that clears the grid and starts fresh.

Multiple general multipliers from different chests multiply each other. Two 5x multipliers produce a 25x general multiplier on your final payout. The mystery multiplier at the end of each trail loop adds another 2x to 100x that also multiplies into the general multiplier. And the trail loops with no limit - collect enough keys from chest rewards and you keep circling.

Stacking Systems

This is where Rock Vegas gets dense. At the end of the round, all rock values on the grid get summed. Then the general multiplier (potentially compounded multiple times from chests and mystery multipliers) applies to that total. A round with modest rock values but a compounded 50x general multiplier pays more than a grid packed with high-value rocks at 1x.

The fire animation adds random extra rocks to the grid after certain respins, injecting value without requiring a natural hit. Retriggers from chest rewards clear everything and restart with fresh respins, but accumulated general multipliers carry over.

The Math Behind the Spectacle

RTP at 96.64% is above average for Pragmatic Play. Operator tiers drop to 95.60% and 94.50%. The 10,000x cap hits roughly once in 2.6 million spins. Bet range runs $0.20 to $100. No buy feature - you earn the bonus naturally or not at all.

The lack of a buy option combined with the empty base game means sessions split into long stretches of nothing punctuated by complex bonus rounds. If you want steady action, this isn't it.
