About Savanna Song Slot

Five mid-tier animal symbols here can land as Double symbols, where a single reel position shows twin animals (the brown bear pair is the easy one to spot) and counts as two matches on the payline. That stretches the paytable out to 10 of a kind on a 5-reel line, which is the whole reason the eagle, bear, fox, bison and prairie wolf get pay columns that most line slots don't bother printing. A full reel of doubles across the animals lands 1,800 to 2,000 coins per line at the top end.

The naming is the first thing to flag. The title says "Savanna" but nothing about the art belongs to an African plain. Instead you get a North American prairie under a golden afternoon haze, teepees on the right edge, autumn trees, and a reel cabinet carved with totem-pole pillars. The premium symbols are a war-feather headdress on a navy medallion, a quiver of arrows, a bald eagle, a fox with green eyes, and the brown bear pair. Royals A/K/Q/J are wooden, painted with tribal banding. Whoever wrote the localisation file and whoever painted the symbols clearly weren't in the same meeting.

The Wild is the second oddity. KA Gaming usually parks the Wild in paytable row 0 with all zeroes, a pure substitute. Here the Wild is also the top-paying symbol, with 5-of-a-kind worth 5,000 coins per line. It substitutes for everything except Scatters and, importantly, it doesn't help complete Double-symbol combinations. So a Wild on reel 3 next to two single bears and a Double bear gives you a regular bear combo, not an extended one. The two mechanics live in parallel rather than feeding each other.

Free spins are unusually generous on the high end. Three Scatters give 10, four give 20, and five give the full 50, where most KA titles cap at 15 or 20. The free-game reel set runs separately from base, and the Double-symbol density tends to sit higher across those strips, so the back half of a long bonus is where the 7, 8 and 9 OAK rows on the animal paytable actually start showing up. No buy bonus, no ante, no retrigger language in the text, and no progressive jackpot. The whole game runs on those two ideas: stretchable line lengths via doubles, and a Wild that pays for itself.
