3 free demo slots in the Chilli Heat series
Chilli Heat is a Pragmatic Play series that has grown more volatile over the years. The 2018 original was a simple, low-volatility game with a Mexican theme. A Megaways version followed in 2021, adding variable reels and high volatility. Spicy Spins then launched in 2025 with a 10,000x top prize - four times the maximum win of the first game.

Choosing your next game
The original Chilli Heat is an older, very straightforward hold-and-win slot. It has low volatility and caps out at a 2,512x max win. It is a fine choice if you want a predictable session, but it feels a bit dated now.
Chilli Heat Megaways is where the series actually hits its stride. It switches to high volatility and doubles the top prize to 5,000x. This is the highest-rated game of the three. The changing reel sizes make the whole concept work much better than the original design.
The newest entry is Spicy Spins. It keeps the high volatility and raises the max win to 10,000x, but it falls short of the Megaways version in quality.
You get the exact same 96.50% RTP across the entire series. Since the house edge never changes, you are just picking your preferred level of risk. If you are deciding which one to spend your time on, skip the original and the newest release. The Megaways version is the clear winner.
