About Soldier of Rome Slot

The reels are split into two halves doing two different jobs. On the left sit four narrow single-row Money Burst reels, one symbol each. To their right stand three tall Mighty Reels, glowing gold-outlined panels in deep crimson, showing five rows but hiding five more above them. Wins run left to right across 50 lines, and that count climbs toward 100 once those top rows open up. The wild only lands on the three Mighty Reels. When one drops in full view during the base game it stretches to cover its whole reel and unlocks the five hidden positions on top, dragging more lines into play. It stands in for everything but the scatter.

The two halves also talk to each other. Match all four symbols across the single-row Money Burst reels on the left and you set off Lightning Spins, which floods the Mighty Reels with copies of that matched symbol and gives you a shot at hits across the full 100 lines. It plays out on its own once triggered. Three scatters, which only appear on the Mighty Reels, hand over 10 free spins, with another 5 added for each extra scatter up to 25. The round retriggers on three more, and wilds keep prying the Mighty Reels open the whole way through.

Big Bet is the premium gear here. Instead of one spin you buy a block of five at a fixed raised stake (20, 30 or 50), with all 50 lines locked on from the start and the low card-suit gems stripped out of the reel sets. Wilds expand even from partial view in this mode, so the top rows open more readily. The five spins bank their wins and pay the whole lot at the end of the run. There's no separate bonus-buy button beyond this.

The dressing is full imperial ancient Rome. A gold-armoured legionary in a red-plumed helmet stands guard to the left of the reels, sword in hand, against dark stone columns and a hazy arena. The symbols run through card-suit gems in spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs, a golden eagle standard, stacked coins, crossed swords and a character portrait, with the ornate gold logo sitting over the central reel in antique gold and slate. It's an older Barcrest machine Light & Wonder still keeps in rotation, built entirely around that two-section layout rather than any modern tumble or wheel.
