About Yakuza Honor Slot

Yakuza Honor brings cluster pays to PG Soft's catalog with a 5x5 grid where 4 or more symbols touching horizontally or vertically form winning combinations. Winning symbols explode, new ones cascade in, and five multiplier tracks sit below the reels - one per column. It's a mechanically dense game for a provider that usually keeps things streamlined.

Each reel's multiplier starts inactive. When a winning symbol lands on a column, its multiplier activates at x1. Subsequent wins on that column increase the value by +1. All wins get multiplied by the sum of active multiplier values from the columns involved. Five-wide clusters that span the entire grid get multiplied by all five track values combined. The Yakuza symbol is the accelerant - each one that appears as part of a win adds +5 to its column's multiplier instead of +1.

The Wild Symbol Feature rewards large clusters: 5 touching symbols in a straight line (horizontal or vertical) place one random Wild after payout, 6 touching symbols drop two Wilds, and 7+ drops three. These Wilds feed back into subsequent cascade rounds, enabling further cluster connections.

Free Spins trigger with three scatters for 12 spins (two extra per additional scatter). The critical upgrade: multipliers collected during free spins persist for the entire round. They don't reset between spins. By the later free spins, you can have multiple columns running double-digit multipliers, especially if Yakuza symbols kept appearing. Retriggers extend the accumulation period further.

The 2,500x cap feels a bit tight for the complexity on offer, but the combination of cluster pays, per-reel multipliers, and the Yakuza +5 spike creates genuine decision-making interest. The Japanese underworld aesthetic - dragon tattoos, katanas, neon-lit alleys - has real visual punch. High volatility means patience required, but the mechanic depth justifies it.
