The three robed figures crowding the reels are the Star Gods, Fu, Lu and Shou, the Chinese deities of fortune, rank and long life. Shou is the long-bearded elder with the staff; the other two stand in red and in gold-trimmed green. They sit among pink lotus blooms and hanging red lanterns as the top-paying symbols, with red-and-gold playing-card royals filling out the low end. Everything is wrapped in an ornate gold dragon border, set against a deep crimson brocade of peonies and clouds, with golden dragon pillars rising on either side. It's the full Chinese New Year palette, lucky red, gold and jade-green.

Two symbols carry the game. The golden Dragon is the Wild, substituting for the paying icons and bursting into a fire effect when it completes a line. The luminous Pearl is the Scatter. The free spins don't trigger off a simple scatter count, though. You need a Dragon and/or a Pearl to land on reel 1 and reel 5 at the same time, the two outer reels, which awards 15 spins. That outer-reel condition is the bit to watch, since a Pearl sitting on a middle reel does nothing on its own.

Inside the 15 spins, every win gets multiplied by a value drawn at random from x2, x3, x5 or x10. The multiplier is rolled per win rather than fixed for the round, so one spin might land x2 and the next x10. The feature retriggers from within itself, so a fresh Dragon and Pearl pairing on the outer reels stacks another 15 on top.
