3 Pharaohs is an Egyptian pyramid slot built around three golden pharaoh masks that hang above the reels, each one slowly filling with treasure until it sets off its own bonus. That trio is the whole point of the game. Green, red and blue take turns hoarding tokens, and whichever fills first decides what happens next.

The grid is tiny - three reels, three rows, five paylines - so the base game isn't where this one earns its keep. It's Amigo Gaming's Pile Collector engine wearing an Egyptian skin, the same setup behind several of the studio's other titles, and the pull is entirely in which mask tips over and what it hands out.

The high symbols lean into the tomb-raider angle: a hooded cobra rearing on a green tile, a sphynx cat against a starry blue background, and a fedora-wearing explorer who looks lifted straight from an adventure serial. The low end is the usual gold-embossed J, Q, K and A, dressed with a bit of Egyptian trim but still card royals doing card-royal work.

Most spins here do very little. Five paylines on a 3x3 board, reels stuffed with royals, and the base game pays in small, infrequent dabs. The real attention goes to those three meters ticking upward - the tension isn't in any single spin but in watching which mask is closest and hoping the tokens land on the pharaohs instead of getting eaten by a win.

It's a patient game. With no bonus buy, the dry stretches run until a meter finally tips, and a medium-high volatility rating (the loading art cheekily flashes five chili peppers, as if it were maxed out) means those stretches can run long. When a bonus does land, it's a change of pace - a pick round, a hold-and-win, or free spins - and that variety is the best thing on offer. The limit that shows up eventually is the 750x cap: it quietly holds back how far any of it can go, so even a strong bonus tops out sooner than the long buildup leads you to expect.

3 Pharaohs takes a bonus system that usually lives on a bigger board and squeezes it onto a compact 3x3 with five lines. The three-mask collector idea still works - a pick round, a hold-and-win and a free spins mode all packed above the reels give it more to do than most small-grid Egyptian slots. The problem is the 750x cap. On a game rated medium-high, that ceiling is genuinely low, and it clips every bonus before it can really pay off, which for my money is the one thing that keeps this from being a game worth chasing rather than sampling. Worth a few spins for the variety and the artwork; just don't load it expecting a big score at the end.
