About Apollo Pays Slot
A golden marble castle crowns a green Olympian peak, ringed by columned temples and arched aqueducts, with turquoise lagoons and waterfalls spilling down toward a soft sea of clouds. Apollo's laurel wreath and a purple sun sit in the logo. Big Time Gaming invented Megaways, and here they bolt a hold-and-win engine onto it, the first time the studio has fused the two. Every winning combination freezes the symbols that made it and spins the rest of the board again. That respin can drop an extra symbol onto any reel not already full at seven high, which reshapes the ways count and can lengthen the win. If two or more symbols improve the total, another respin follows, and the chain keeps running until one symbol or none adds anything, at which point the round pays out.
The hook is the multiplier riding on top. Each respin bumps a Win Multiplier up by one. In the base game that climb is limited by how long a single chain lasts, but the free games strip the ceiling out completely: the multiplier never resets between spins, so it just keeps stacking the longer you survive. Three Scatters open the free games with 10 spins, and every Scatter past the third adds two more. Scatters stay locked through every respin. Full Reel Wilds show up only on the four inner reels, never the outer two, which matters because a wild sitting on reel 3 or 4 is often the symbol that keeps a respin chain alive.
Win Exchange gives a solid base-game hit somewhere to go. Land 100x your stake or more and you can hand back exactly 100x for 10 free spins instead of banking it. Win something smaller, between 25x and 100x, and you can gamble the whole amount on a red-and-green wheel, the green slice showing your odds, again for 10 spins. There's a Feature Drop buy as well, where Feature Drop symbols on the reels chip away at the entry price, and if enough land it can fall to zero and set itself off. Fitting, for a Greek sun-god slot, that the real payoff waits behind the free spins where the multiplier answers to nothing.
