About Boom Bird Slot

Picture a neon variety-show stage with purple-pink backdrops, gold confetti raining down, and a cocky white rooster in sunglasses lounging on a pile of coins. That rooster is not the star of the reels, though. The stars are his caged friends, and getting them out of those birdcages is the entire hook.

Every symbol drops in one of three states: fully caged, half-caged, or Normal (free). A caged chicken has to participate in a winning combo just to break to half-caged, then win again to go Normal. Only Normal-status symbols advance the base multiplier when they clear. So the early part of a spin is often spent chipping away at cages while the multiplier sits idle. The cascades that actually matter are the ones where freed birds line up.

Three wild types handle the heavy lifting, and they are colour-coded so you know what you got the moment it lands. The blue-flame Chicken wild scatters one to three extra wilds across the reels at 1x. The red Owl wild clears for a flat 5x to 10x multiplier. The Golden Chicken is the one you want, because when it clears, it doubles whatever multiplier you have already built up. Chain a few of those in sequence and the numbers climb fast, which is the same compound-wild trick YGR used in Golden Horse Chess.

The base-game catch: miss a spin and the multiplier resets to 1x. It's a ticking clock on every winning sequence, which pushes you toward the bonus.

Three crown scatters trigger 8 free spins, with two more spins tacked on for each extra crown and standard retriggers inside the round. The difference here is that the multiplier no longer resets between spins. It persists across the whole 8-plus-spin round and only dies when the round ends. Late free games, with a Golden Chicken or two cleared, can stack into something genuinely silly. If you'd rather not farm scatters, the Buy Bonus sitting top-left in red takes you straight into 8 spins at 100x bet.

The asymmetric hexagonal layout, with three rows on the outside reels and four down the middle, is the other thing worth pointing out. It means ways cascade across a shape most ways-games don't use, and a fully-populated grid looks unusual next to your standard rectangle. Playful, a bit loud, and more mechanically interesting than the cartoon chickens suggest.
