Chaos Crew started at 10,000x. The sequel doubled it to 20,000x. Now Chaos Crew 3 pushes to 30,000x - Hacksaw Gaming's largest max win at the time of release. The 5x5 grid and 19 paylines carry over from Chaos Crew 2, as do Cranky Cat and Sketchy Skull. The new addition is Milo the Glitch Dog, a persistent symbol that bounces around the grid during bonuses and transforms into random multiplier types each spin.
The paytable is bottom-heavy. Low symbols pay 0.1x to 2x for three to five of a kind. The top standard symbol hits 10x for five. Cranky Cat acts as both Wild and multiplier, substituting for paying symbols while multiplying any win it's part of. Cat values range from x2 to x20, and multiple Cats in the same winning combination multiply each other - two x10 Cats in one line means x100 on that win.
The five low-paying symbols aren't just filler. Each represents a letter: C, H, A, O, S. Land all five in order across any single row and you trigger an EPIC DROP. The grid clears. Reel Multipliers appear above each reel starting at 1x. The CHAOS letters transform into Glitch Dogs, which then jump to new positions and glitch into one of four Crazy Multiplier types.
Sketchy Skull adds its value (1x to 100x) to the Reel Multiplier on its reel. Epic Sketchy Skull adds its value to all five Reel Multipliers at once. Cranky Cat multiplies its reel's Multiplier by its value (x2 to x20). Epic Cranky Cat multiplies all five Reel Multipliers. At the end, all Reel Multipliers are added together and the total is multiplied by your bet.
Ctrl + Alt + Chaos (3 scatters) gives you 3 lives instead of a fixed spin count. Only dead symbols, Crazy Multipliers, and Glitch Dogs land during the bonus. Reel Multipliers start at 1x and persist through every spin - they never reset, only grow. Landing any Crazy Multiplier refills your lives to 3. Glitch Dog refills them too, the first time it appears. When all lives are gone, the five Reel Multipliers are summed and multiplied by bet.
The Korrupted K9 (4 scatters) uses the same life system but guarantees at least 4 Crazy Multipliers and 1 Glitch Dog from the start. It also introduces Chaos Upgrade symbols that boost every Crazy Multiplier and Glitch Dog within a 3x3 area. The upgrade values run from 1x to 100x and get added to each affected symbol before those symbols feed into the Reel Multipliers.
An Epic Glitch (5 scatters, Hidden Epic Bonus) starts with a full grid of Crazy Multipliers, at least 1 Chaos Upgrade, and at least 1 Glitch Dog. Every position on the 5x5 grid is active from spin one. The ceiling is built into that starting state - when Upgrades boost multipliers that then cascade into Reel Multipliers, the math scales fast toward the 30,000x cap.
Chaos Crew 2 introduced sticky Crazy Multipliers and the Best of Bonus selection. CC3 drops both. Sticky multipliers are replaced by the Glitch Dog's persistent movement pattern - less guaranteed value on specific positions, but a different kind of tension as Milo jumps around. The Best of Bonus gave players a choice between bonus types; CC3 removes that agency entirely.
Whether those trades improve the game depends on what you valued in CC2. If sticky multipliers building on fixed positions was your thing, CC3 won't scratch the same itch. If you prefer the chaos of randomized positioning and the new EPIC DROP trigger, it's an upgrade.
BonusHunt FeatureSpins here run at 10x the normal bonus trigger rate - double the 5x standard used in most other Hacksaw games. Byte Me EPIC DROP FeatureSpins guarantee at least 5 Crazy Multipliers per spin. Direct buys are available for Ctrl + Alt + Chaos and The Korrupted K9, with the K9 buy having a chance to trigger the Epic Bonus instead.
