A jewellery-box take on the old fruit machine, built around one symbol: a red brilliant-cut heart that lands on a middle reel and swallows the whole column. Fazi has put out plenty of gem-fruit slots. This is the one where the wild does all the work.

Five reels, four rows, 40 fixed lines, and nothing waiting at the end of any of it. No free spins, no respins, no buy button. The heart only appears on reels 2, 3 and 4, and when it drops it stretches top to bottom and turns that reel wild, which cuts across most of the 40 lines at once. That is the game.

Two star scatters and three mystery progressives sit on top, plus the old red-or-black double-up. RTP is 96.483%, the ceiling is 5,000x, and the volatility runs high enough that the low fruit payouts barely register.

Every icon is cut from gem glass rather than painted, and that is the whole visual idea. A green faceted watermelon with a red wedge sliced out of it. Grapes built from a cluster of blue sapphires. Plums in deep amethyst, lemons and oranges as yellow and amber crystal, a bell in polished gold. The 7 is a slab of ruby inside a gold outline, and the heart wild is that same ruby red set in a gold frame that ignites when it expands.

All of it sits on a deep red faceted backdrop, reels inside a thin gold border, with a large gold '40' painted on either side so the line count is impossible to miss. A jackpot meter above the control bar cycles between Gold, Diamond and Platinum. It looks like a cabinet game from a real betting shop, which is presumably the intent, and the art holds up better than the layout does.

Sessions run flat and then jump. Most spins drop three low fruit somewhere across the middle rows and return a fraction of the stake, which registers as a win on the counter without moving the balance. The spins that matter are the ones with a heart in them.

Because the wild only takes one reel at a time, even a strong hit resolves in a couple of seconds instead of building. Nothing fills, nothing collects, nothing carries over between spins except the jackpot totals ticking upward, and those climb whether the player is winning or not. That is probably the weak spot: there is no reason to stay past the point where the balance stops moving.

Which leaves the double-up carrying a surprising amount of the tension. Turning a 3x win into 6x on a coin flip is more of an event than most base spins manage, and it is the kind of thing you either chase or ignore.

Thin, but not lazy. Brilliant Heart does one thing and does it cleanly: the heart is a satisfying symbol to watch land, the gem art is well drawn, and 40 lines across four rows means a full wild reel connects on plenty of them together. Nothing about the build is sloppy.

But this is a 2025 release with the feature set of a 2012 one. Anyone arriving from a game with a bonus round will find the loop short and the ceiling low, and the split between the two star scatters is about as much depth as the design allows itself. Short bursts suit it. The jackpot meters only mean anything at stakes higher than most would otherwise pick, which is worth thinking through before raising the bet to chase them.
