Winning clusters leave wilds behind. That's the starting point - every cluster of 5+ matching symbols that clears from the grid drops a wild in its place. But the wilds don't just sit there. When a subsequent cascade pulls an existing wild into another winning cluster alongside other wilds, they merge into a single wild with their multipliers added together. Two x2 wilds fuse into one x4. Three x1s become x3. Wild multiplier values go up to x10, and a merged x10 wild sitting inside a large cluster of premium symbols is where the math gets interesting.
