About Cash Bandits 2 Slot
The hook is the keypad. Three or more Vault scatters drop you into the Vault Bonus, where a 3-digit safe cracking mini-game sits between you and the free spins. Numbers 0 through 9 cycle under each keypad slot and stop one at a time. Match all three digits on a given safe and that safe unlocks, handing you a tier of free games and a multiplier attached to it. Miss even one digit and you move to the next safe, working through up to five vaults of increasing payouts. Unlock everything and you end up with 55 free games at a 23x multiplier, which is where that 50,000x headline number actually lives.
Unlocked safes stack. You don't pick one reward, you collect whatever you cracked across all five tiers and play the sum as one combined bonus. The safe tiers run roughly 5 spins at 2x, then 7/3x, 15/5x, 20/8x, 55/12x for the top vault, and the multipliers themselves get bumped by another layer during play. It's a pick-bonus wearing free spins clothing, and the digit-cycle suspense carries the round even when the cracks go your way early.
Base play runs the Cash Bandits 2 logo as the Wild, substituting for everything except the vault Scatter. The retriggers during free games work the same way as the entry - land three more vaults and you go back to the keypad to potentially add more cracked safes onto the running total. RTG layered the Major progressive on top as well, hitting randomly at any bet level and drawing from the shared RTG progressive network.
The art is comic-book cops-and-robbers. The masked burglar in his black mask and striped shirt grins from the reels next to a handcuffed WANTED poster girl, bags of cash stamped with dollar signs, a ringing burglar alarm, a safe key, and a blue police badge. Column-style gold pillars flank the reel set, the bank building pokes up in the background, and stacks of green dollar bills rain down the borders. It plays like the third entry in the line without the expanded features, which is to say: straightforward, keypad-driven, and still the most imitated version of this mechanic in RTG's catalog.
