Le Bunny is the ninth slot in Hacksaw Gaming's Le series, dropping Smokey the Raccoon into an Easter egg hunt on a 6x5 cluster pays grid. The grumpy raccoon swaps his usual disguises for a pink bunny suit, standing guard beside the reels while you chase a 20,000x max win. The engine runs on Super Cascades and the Golden Squares reveal mechanic, wrapped in pastel colors and chocolate eggs.
The formula is identical to Le King from June 2025. Same grid, same features, same math model. If you enjoyed Le King or Le Bandit, you know what you're getting. If you wanted mechanical evolution after eight entries, this isn't it.
Wins form when five or more matching symbols connect horizontally or vertically anywhere on the grid. What makes the cascade "super" is that all symbols of the winning type get removed from the grid, including those outside the cluster. A cluster of seven chicks wipes every chick off the board, creating larger gaps for new symbols to fill.
Each winning cluster leaves Golden Squares behind on its grid positions. These squares sit dormant until a Rainbow symbol appears after cascades finish. When it does, every Golden Square on the grid activates simultaneously, revealing coins, clovers, baskets, or jackpot eggs.
The reveal sequence follows a strict order. Coins come in three tiers: bronze (0.2x to 4x), silver (5x to 20x), and gold (25x to 500x). Green clovers multiply adjacent coins and baskets by x2 up to x20, while gold clovers apply that same range to every coin and basket on the entire grid. Baskets then collect the combined value of all coins and other baskets. After baskets resolve, remaining Golden Squares activate again with fresh reveals, creating a loop that keeps paying until no squares remain.
Jackpot Eggs land on the reels or get revealed inside Golden Squares. Four fixed tiers: Mini at 10x, Major at 100x, Mega at 1,000x, and Max Win at 20,000x. Only one of each tier appears per spin, so a maximum of four eggs can land together. Baskets do not collect jackpot egg values, though. Those pay separately after all basket resolution completes.
Three FS scatters trigger Spell of Luck: 10 free spins where Golden Squares persist between spins instead of clearing, and the minimum coin value jumps to 1x. That persistence matters. In the base game, you need cascades and a Rainbow on the same spin. Here, Golden Squares stack across multiple spins, waiting for a single Rainbow to pay everything at once.
Four scatters unlock Swiping the Sweets with one critical difference: Golden Squares stay permanently, even after Rainbow activation. The grid fills with gold as the round progresses.
Five scatters reach Rainbow Riches, the hidden epic bonus. Every spin guarantees at least one Rainbow, and coins are silver or gold only, starting at 5x minimum. This tier cannot be purchased and delivers the clearest path to the 20,000x cap. All three tiers retrigger: two additional scatters add 2 spins, three add 4.
BonusHunt FeatureSpins at 3x bet makes each spin five times more likely to trigger a bonus. RainbowCatching FeatureSpins at 60x guarantees at least one win and one Rainbow every spin. Spell of Luck costs 80x and Swiping the Sweets 250x. That 250x price is steep: at a €2 bet, you're paying €500 per entry with no guarantee of recovering the cost. Rainbow Riches stays locked behind natural gameplay.
The Le franchise started with Le Bandit in August 2023 and has grown to nine entries. Each game re-themes the same core mechanics, though entries like Le Cowboy (Revolver Reveals) and Le Fisherman (Big Catch Bar) introduced unique additions. Le Bunny adds nothing new, making it the most conservative release in the lineup.
The 96.14% default RTP sits in the middle of the series range, with operators able to configure it down to 88.25%. A 41.33% hit frequency keeps the base game active, though the real payoff potential lives inside Golden Squares reveals during free spins.
As a seasonal Easter release filling the same calendar role as Le Santa did for Christmas, Le Bunny wraps proven mechanics in vibrant spring art: chocolate hens, hatching chicks, tulips, and Easter egg lollipops populate the reels. Smokey looks appropriately annoyed in his bunny costume. Eight entries deep, the question is whether a theme swap alone justifies another spin on the same engine. For Le series fans who want the familiar Golden Squares rush in spring colors, it delivers. For anyone hoping Hacksaw would push the mechanics forward, the wait continues.
