About Cubee Slot

The 3x3 grid is the first thing that looks wrong if you've played a hundred RTG titles. Five paylines, three reels wide, three rows tall, and a furry orange cube-shaped hero named Cubee standing to the left of the reels while whatever monster belongs to the current era glares from the right. A blue swirling portal sits between them. The whole thing plays less like a traditional slot and more like a side-scrolling mobile game that happens to have spinning symbols.

The engine here is the era meter. Four icons sit in the top-left corner showing your progression: caveman, pirates, vikings, space. Every win feeds a progress bar, and filling it enough times pushes Cubee through the portal into the next era. Each era swaps the background art, the enemy on the right, and the symbol set - caveman-club icons become pirate cutlasses become viking axes. You cannot skip eras, you cannot buy your way in, and the four-enemy sequence is fixed. Space is the terminal stage, and when you reach it the free games trigger with a distinct cosmic background.

Free games inherit whichever era you were in when the feature dropped, and the era visuals carry through every spin of the round. The scatter does its normal job here, but the real draw is the era-jump animation that plays between spins when the meter fills mid-feature. There's an bonus game layer where Cubee engages the on-screen enemy directly, with a short Spine-animated skirmish before the reels resume.

Weapons rotate per era - bow and arrow, cannon, shield, sword - and they pay as mid-tier symbols rather than triggering anything mechanical. The four enemy monster symbols are era-specific and sit at the top of the paytable. Cubee himself is the wild. Visually this is 2019 cartoon work, closer to a Cartoon Network style than the classical RTG lobby aesthetic - bright saturated colors, exaggerated character faces, hand-drawn backgrounds with dusty cave walls that shift to ocean horizons and then icy viking mountains. If you want to see how RTG handles their more traditional 5-reel format with similar humor, Achilles sits on the opposite end of the provider's catalog - classical Greek, flat 2006 art, zero animation. Cubee is the experiment; Achilles is the formula.
