About Dead Man's Riches Slot

Two wild symbols, two different movement patterns. The Red Skull drops down one row with each respin, the Blue Skull slides left one reel. Both trigger a respin chain the moment they appear, moving one step per cycle until they fall off the grid - the Red at the bottom of its column, the Blue past reel 1. Each wild starts without a multiplier (treated as x1), but any line win involving one gets multiplied by whatever value it's carrying.

Teal-green murk fills the background, the kind of deep-water glow you'd expect inside a sunken galleon. Thick anchor chains border the reels, barnacle-crusted wood surrounds the grid, and a brass porthole sits below the spin button. Two rival skeleton crews - one in red bandanas, the other in blue - populate the premium positions alongside cutlasses, a pink octopus, and a golden ship's wheel. Card royals are etched into aged driftwood, muted enough to let the pirate iconography dominate.

If the Red Skull's downward path and the Blue Skull's leftward path land on the same cell, they merge into a Wild Captain. The Captain combines both multipliers - a Red at x2 meeting a Blue at x3 produces x5. Next respin, the Captain splits back into its two halves, but both now carry that combined value. The Red keeps falling at x5, the Blue keeps sliding left at x5. That split-and-keep loop can repeat if paths cross again. Collapsing reels run underneath, clearing wins and dropping new symbols in during each respin cycle.

Three scatters open a choice for free spins. Pick 15 spins with standard rules, or 8 spins where every wild becomes persistent - stuck to the grid for the full bonus. Eight spins sounds like a downgrade, but persistent wilds stay in play long enough for repeated Captain merges. More collisions, more multiplier compounding, fewer total chances to trigger them. The 15-spin path gives you volume instead.
