The whole game runs on a bass-fishing tournament gimmick, and the gimmick actually has hands: a cartoon fishing rod sits to the left of the reels with a yellow bucket dangling beneath it, and that bucket is the collect meter. Cash symbols drop onto the grid carrying values from 1x up to 100x bet, and they sit inert, doing nothing, until a Collect-type symbol shows up. Then the rod reels in everything on screen at once.

Three Collect variants change what that payout looks like. The plain Collect just sums whatever cash is visible and pays it. Respin Collect does the same sum but then locks the cash symbols in place and gives you a respin to add more before the round ends. Multiplier Collect is the one to chase, taking the full on-screen total and applying a multiplier on top, with the dial above the bucket (the gauge ticking through 25, 30, 40, 50) hinting at where that multiplier can land.

The Bass Blitz logo is the top symbol with the red angry-bass mascot leaping out of green lettering through a yellow lightning bolt, and below it sit four crystal gems (purple and red pay equally, blue and green a tier lower), then royals A through 9. Wilds substitute for paying symbols only, never for Cash or Collects, and a separate Wild_X2 variant doubles any combo it joins.

Three or more diamond Bonus scatters trigger Free Spins, scaling 8, 12, 16, or 20 spins for 3 through 6 scatters, on an alternate reel set with its own intro animation. There's also a Shark random feature that fires during base play, a glowing red shark fin tearing through the grid to enhance a spin, likely upgrading cash values or salting more cash onto the reels.

The whole thing is framed by a dappled-sunlight ocean backdrop, bubbles drifting up the edges, with a jackpot ladder (Mini, Minor, Major) running along the top of the reel area and awarded through the Cash Cow mechanic rather than a separate trigger. It's a cleaner, more compact take on the cash-collect formula than most of L&W's bigger Cash Cow titles, but the fishing-rod animation gives it more personality than the genre usually bothers with.
