Installation

Step-by-step setup from download to your first game catalog page.

Requirements

WordPress 6.0+

Any recent WP version works. Classic or block themes both supported.

PHP 7.4+

PHP 8.x recommended. Most modern hosts already meet this.

Any Theme

The plugin includes its own styles. No theme modifications needed.

Step 1: Create Account

Go to the registration page and create a free account.

Once logged in, navigate to your Dashboard and add your WordPress site domain (e.g. yoursite.com).

Your API key will be generated automatically. Copy it — you will need it in Step 3.

Step 2: Install Plugin

  1. Download the plugin ZIP from your Dashboard page
  2. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
  3. Click Choose File, select the downloaded ZIP, then click Install Now
  4. Click Activate Plugin

You should see a new SlotsReach menu item in your WordPress sidebar.

Step 3: Configure

  1. Go to SlotsReach → Settings in your WordPress sidebar
  2. Paste your API key (starts with sr_live_) into the API Key field
  3. Click Verify — you should see a green confirmation message

Step 4: Import Games

Go to SlotsReach → Import and click Import All Games.

This fetches the full game catalog from our API. It takes 1-2 minutes on most hosts.

You will see a progress bar and a confirmation message when done.

Step 5: Add to a Page

  1. Create a new page in WordPress (e.g. “Free Demo Slots”)
  2. Add the following shortcode in the page content:
[slotsreach show_search="true"]

Publish the page and visit it — your full game catalog with search will be live.

URL Structure

The plugin creates individual game pages at /slots/{game-slug}, for example:

yoursite.com/slots/sweet-bonanza-pragmatic-play

The base slug (slots) can be changed in SlotsReach → Settings → URL Base.

Updating the Plugin

The plugin auto-updates when new versions are released. You will see a standard WordPress update notification.

Manual update: Deactivate and delete the plugin, then download the latest ZIP from your Dashboard and reinstall. Your imported game data is stored in the database and will not be lost.
