Dragon Tiger Fortunes builds everything around a central prize wheel. Land three or more Wheel Bonus symbols and the wheel spins to determine which free spins mode you enter - or whether you walk away with an instant jackpot. There's Tiger's Gate, Dragon's Call, Radiant Roar, a random jackpot prize, or an upgrade path to the Super Wheel.
Each mode starts free spins differently. Tiger's Gate drops oversized scatter symbols (up to 5x3, filling the entire grid) that stamp dragon marks in their wake. Dragon's Call sends dragons marching rightward from the wheel symbol positions, marking and upgrading every spot they cross. Radiant Roar converts wheel symbol positions straight to gold marks and auto-upgrades any new scatter hits during the round.
It's a lot of moving parts. Three distinct entry paths into a bonus that functions the same way once running but starts from wildly different positions.
The dragon mark system drives the bonus payouts. When free spins start, scatter positions get stamped with bronze marks. Every new scatter that lands on a marked spot upgrades it - bronze to silver, silver to gold. Hit a gold position again and a random unmarked spot gets upgraded instead. Fill the entire grid with gold marks and each additional scatter awards a prize between 10x and 250x total bet.
After all spins finish, the House Reveal phase begins. Every marked position flips to show a random prize. Bronze marks pay between 0.5x and 2x. Silver ranges from 2x to 1,000x (the Major jackpot). Gold pushes from 10x up to 8,000x (the Grand). The gap between bronze and gold payouts is enormous - that's why the mark upgrade mechanic matters so much during the free spins.
Six scatters trigger the base free spins with 6 rounds. Landing 3+ scatters during the feature adds 1 more spin. Retriggers are modest, so the upgrade count is limited by how many scatters appear in a short window.
When a Wheel Upgrade symbol appears on reel 5 alongside two regular Wheel symbols, the grid expands from 5x3 to 5x6. Three additional rows open up below the original grid, and the Super Wheel replaces the regular one.
Super versions of each mode get enhanced. Super Tiger's Gate works across the full 5x6 grid with at least two big scatter symbols. Super Dragon's Call duplicates its dragon paths onto the new rows. Super Radiant Roar does the same with gold mark assignments. And the random jackpot from Super Wheel only awards Major or Grand - the smaller tiers are removed.
The 5x6 grid means 30 mark positions instead of 15. That's twice the potential prize reveals during House Reveal, and gold marks at 8,000x Grand jackpot level become much more impactful when they appear across 30 slots.
Two buy options. Free Spins at 50x guarantees 6-15 scatters on the trigger spin, giving you a head start on marks. Wheel Bonus at 100x spins the wheel directly. The Wheel Bonus buy is the riskier choice - you might land a jackpot, or you might enter free spins through a mode that gives you an advantageous starting position. Or you might just hit a Mini jackpot at 10x and feel the sting of that 100x purchase.
The four fixed jackpots scale with bet: Mini at 10x, Minor at 50x, Major at 1,000x, Grand at 8,000x. These aren't progressive pools, so the amounts are predictable. The 8,200x max win cap sits just above the Grand jackpot, leaving minimal room for stacking jackpot wins with mark prizes.
This is a sequel to Pragmatic's earlier Dragon Tiger, but the two play nothing alike. The original used a 5x4 grid with 1,024 ways. This strips down to 5x3 with 243 ways and pours all its complexity into the bonus system instead. The trade-off: a thin base game with small payline wins, balanced by one of the deepest multi-stage bonus structures in Pragmatic's current catalog.
