Dropz starts with a 6x6 grid, but only three rows are actually playable. The other three are sealed behind chocolate blockers - brown tiles that sit in place until an adjacent winning symbol explodes and cracks them open. Some chocolates hide regular symbols. Others contain features or wilds. The grid feels cramped at first, but every avalanche cascade chips away at the chocolate wall, revealing more playable space.
The avalanche mechanic handles the rest. Winning symbols explode, remaining symbols drop, new ones fill the gaps. Each cascade might break another chocolate, which might reveal a symbol that creates another win, which breaks more chocolate. The chain reaction feeds itself until nothing matches.
A meter above the grid displays two symbols of the same color. When matching pairs appear adjacent on the reels, they count toward the Pair Matching Meter - even if those same symbols are also part of a winning combination. Fill the meter and a multiplier gets added to the Win Multiplier for the round.
The multiplier applies to the current drop and every win after it. New symbol pairs generate after each collection, so the meter keeps resetting with fresh targets. Over a long avalanche sequence, hitting two or three pair completions stacks the multiplier up before the biggest wins even land. And the multiplier carries into the bonus game.
The Level Up system adds rows to the grid. Level 1 gives you 6 rows with 729 ways to win. Activating a Level Up symbol (hidden inside a chocolate) bumps the grid to 7 rows and 117,649 ways. Level 3 maxes out at 8 rows with 262,144 ways. The jump from 729 to 262,144 is massive - it changes which symbol combinations are even possible.
Locked Wilds add staying power. These charged wilds persist for three wins before disappearing. They survive between drops in the bonus round, giving consecutive free spins a shared wild foundation to build from.
Collecting three Bonus symbols during the base game triggers 5 free drops. The bonus automatically starts at maximum row level - 8 rows, 262,144 ways - regardless of what level you reached in the base game. The Win Multiplier from the base game carries over. If you built a x4 multiplier through pair matching before triggering the bonus, all 5 free drops benefit from it.
During the bonus, chocolates from the first drop stay sticky. No new chocolates appear. Each subsequent drop can reload those sticky positions with new symbols, but the overall chocolate layout stays fixed. Locked Wilds persist between drops until their charge runs out.
RTP is 94.0% - the standard post-2022 ELK rate. Hit frequency at 23.0% means roughly one win per four or five spins. Medium-high volatility keeps sessions balanced between dry stretches and productive cascades.
The 25,000x ceiling matches ELK's modern top tier. Getting there requires pair matching multipliers stacking during the base game, carrying into bonus drops, and hitting extended avalanche chains on the fully expanded 8-row grid. The X-iter options range from 2x (Bonus Hunt) to 500x (Super Bonus starting at x10 multiplier). That 500x tier skips the multiplier-building phase entirely and drops you into the bonus with the math already in your favor.
Visually, it's candies, chocolates, and a small blue mouse hauling a sack of sweets. Bright, clean, and readable despite the 6x8 grid density. The pair matching meter adds a layer of attention above the main grid that most avalanche slots don't ask for - tracking which symbols you need adjacent to push the multiplier higher while also watching for chocolate breaks and level-up triggers below.
