Sweet Bonanza and Sugar Rush dominate this theme. They share the same bright colors but play completely differently.

The Sweet Bonanza games use a 6x5 grid where symbols pay anywhere they land. When symbols vanish, they leave behind multiplier spots that stick around and grow during the free spins round. Instead of hoping for one lucky chain of tumbles, you are trying to build up a good board over several spins. The top prize matches Sweet Bonanza 1000 at 25,000x.

Both of these series are highly volatile. In fact, there are no low volatility candy slots on this list at all. The games might look cute, but the math behind them is tough.

Other games in the mix

A few other titles try to fit into the spaces between the big hits. Slushie Party and Sugar Twist use the same 7x7 setup as Sugar Rush but offer a high 98% RTP and a lower 5,000x max win. FTN Rush works the exact same way. On the other side, Jelly Express and Susu & Koko copy the 6x5 Sweet Bonanza style.

If you look past Pragmatic Play, there are only a couple of games that stand out. Dropz by ELK Studios is a 6x6 game with a 25,000x max win and a 94% RTP. Slurpy is a 5x5 game with the same RTP. These are the only other candy games we rate highly.

Too much of the same thing

When you scroll through all these games, they start to blur together. The 6x5 games all feature similar colorful symbols and tumbling mechanics, and the 7x7 games have the exact same problem.

The top games like Sweet Bonanza and Sugar Rush 1000 are excellent and deserve their high ratings. The issue is simply the sheer number of clones and copycats surrounding them. Finding the good ones can feel like digging through a huge bag of candy where almost every piece tastes exactly the same.
