About Easter Island 2 Slot
Land any 3-of-a-kind on the 25 paylines and the symbol-swap respin auto-fires. The rule branches by tier. If the winning combo was on a low-pay wooden card-suit, every other low-pay tile on the grid converts to the winning one before the respin reels stop. If it was on a high-pay Moai animal statue, all four other high-pay icons convert instead. So the respin doesn't just hand you another shot at the same paying symbol, it floods the grid with it. The trigger combo stays locked, the rest of the reels spin once with the swap already applied, and that's the entire base loop. Bet stays fixed during the respin and there's no retrigger path, which is unusual to flag because most Yggdrasil respin engines extend on landing.
Hit four-of-a-kind or higher on a base spin and the swap layer gets a second mechanic stacked on top: Colossal Blocks. Four lands you 2x2 stone tiles printed across reels 2 to 5. Five bumps that to 3x3. Six unlocks the headline event - 4x4 Colossal Blocks plus the grid expanding from 6x4 out to 8x6, and the line count jumping from 25 to 55. Wilds only show up during these Colossal respins and always print as the same Colossal block size on the four middle reels, so the only way to see a Wild on this game is to first earn one of the three Colossal tiers.
No traditional free-spin round. No buy menu. No ante. Everything routes through that one trigger ladder - 3 of a kind starts a swap, 4 of a kind adds Colossal, 6 of a kind adds expanded reels on top of both. The hit frequency sits at 16.3% which is generous for medium-high volatility, but most of those hits are the bottom rung of the ladder rather than the 8x6 event.
Visually it's the original Easter Island statues on holiday in Venice Beach. Cartoon Moai tourists stand either side of the cabinet wearing sunglasses, surf shorts and visors, with palm trees and a neon-lit boardwalk faded into the dusk sky behind them. The reel frame is wooden tiki carving in deep brown with tribal patterning, festoon lights strung along the top edge. Symbol art splits cleanly between five carved-stone animal Moai for the high pays and four glyph-painted card suits for the lows, the latter rendered as red, blue, green and purple wooden tiles with goofy painted faces. The whole-grid symbol conversion on every base respin is what gives the cabinet its rhythm - hit anything and the screen reshuffles itself around the win before the next reel stops.
