Fire Blaze: Blue Wizard PowerPlay Jackpot Slot by Playtech

The Blue Wizard is the Wild, a hooded figure cradling a glowing blue orb, and he fills a whole reel when he lands. He stands in for every symbol except the castle Scatter and the Crystal Ball. One quirk to know before you spin: he only shows up on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. Reel 1 never gets a Wild, so a left-to-right line always has to begin with a real paying symbol.

The Crystal Balls carry the game. Each one is a purple coin stamped with a cash value, anything from 1x up to 50x your bet. Land six or more and the Fire Blaze Respin locks them in place and hands you three respins. Every new Crystal Ball sticks and resets the count back to three. Some balls show a Star instead of a number, and a held Star flips into the Major, Minor or Mini prize. Fill all fifteen positions and the Grand drops. When the respins run out, every value sitting on screen pays at once.

Those four Fire Blaze prizes are fixed to your stake, not progressive: Mini at 20x, Minor 100x, Major 500x, Grand 2,000x. Keep them separate from the PowerPlay ladder down the left of the screen. Mega, Peak and Mini PowerPlay are network progressives pooled across every casino running the game, and in the free demo all three read as unavailable. Free Games come from three or more castle Scatters and start at six spins, retriggerable from inside. The multiplier lives on reel 3: any Wild that lands on the middle reel carries x2, x4, x8 or x16, and a line win using it pays out at that rate. Crystal Balls on that reel jump to 5x, 10x, 15x or 50x during the round too. The setting is a witch's cottage at the edge of a moonlit forest, gravestones to one side, a full moon and misty mountains to the other, bats crossing a midnight-blue sky. It shares its wizard with Blue Wizard: Cash Collect & Link, though the two play nothing alike.
