Everything else is pub-cabinet standard. Five reels, three rows, up to 20 paylines you can dial down one at a time, and a red 7 pulling double duty as the wild and the top regular payer at 50x. The 95.79% RTP and low volatility set the shape of a session before the first spin.

Two things keep it off the pile of straight reskins, and neither is something you can trigger. Three mystery progressives cycle on a meter beneath the reels, and any win can be sent to a red-or-black gamble.

The frame does all the festive work. Same navy windows, same glossy thick-outlined fruit as the original: a lemon with a cut half beside it, twin cherries on a leafed stem, a deep purple plum, a seeded watermelon wedge, an orange, a golden bell. Even the logo above the reels still reads just Fruits and Stars, with no Christmas anywhere in it. The art is clean, drawn with the flat bright confidence of land-based cabinet design, and it holds up at speed. But calling this a Christmas edition is generous when the tree is stuck to the wall behind the game.

Sessions are flat and busy. Low volatility with fruit-machine payouts means the balance ticks along in small increments, wins land often enough that the reels rarely go quiet for long, and hardly any of them return more than a couple of times the stake. There is no build-up, because there is nothing to build toward. You are not counting scatters or watching a bar fill.

So the tension has to come from somewhere else, and it comes from the two things bolted to the sides: the cycling jackpot number and the gamble button. Every win puts a small decision in front of you, bank it or flip a coin on it, and across a session that is the only place this game gets fast. Taken as what it is, a cabinet game ported to a browser with tinsel added, it does the job. The star paying from anywhere gives it one good idea, the jackpot meter gives a reason to sit longer than the base math justifies, and the art is clean. The seasonal angle is thin enough that outside December there is little reason to pick this over Fruits and Stars 20 Deluxe, which plays the same game without the tree.
