Just know that the paytable is incredibly top-heavy. If you line up six purple chillis, you get a sweet 15x your bet. But if you connect a full line of the highest royal cards? You get a measly 1.20x. Ouch.

The big new addition is the Chilli Bonus Respin.

This triggers randomly in the base game and gives you a single free spin with one of four modifiers (you'll know which one based on which pot lights up):

1. Duplicate Wild: Shoots purple chillis out from a fireworks wild.
2. Increased Ways: Forces at least four symbols onto every single reel.
3. Double Multiplier: Starts the spin with a 2x multiplier that goes up by two on every cascade.
4. Chilli Wild: Turns all the green chillis on the middle four reels into wilds.

A quick warning about "Power Play": You can pay 5x your base bet per spin to trigger these random respins more often. Don't fall for it. It raises the RTP slightly to 96.41%, but it's an absolute balance drainer. You aren't buying a guaranteed feature, just the frequency of one, and the rules tie it to the respins alone: unlike most ante bets, it says nothing about putting more scatters on the reels.

Land three "HOT" scatters and you trigger 10 free spins plus one Chilli Bonus modifier.

Before the spins start, you have to face the Free Spins Gamble wheel. It's as terrifying as ever. You can risk your spins to win extra modifiers. If you win, the next wheel gets harder. If you lose on any wheel (except the final purple one, which gives you a safety net of 10 spins), the feature is completely destroyed and you go back to the base game with nothing.

Weird quirk: If you happen to trigger the bonus naturally with six or more scatters, the game just skips the gamble wheel entirely. It kind of kills the hype right when the excitement is peaking, but I guess it saves you from gambling it all away.

As a sequel, Extra Chilli More Chilli is basically a sideways step with a slightly higher top. The original had a 20,000x max win; this one pushes it to 30,000x.

What the game does really well is make the base game less boring. The random pot respins do a great job of breaking up the long, painful stretches of dead spins that Megaways games are notorious for.

But don't let the 30,000x max win fool you, reaching it requires an absolute miracle. Because the multiplier counts reactions and not value, our 100x buy gambled its way up to two modifiers, built the multiplier to 26x across ten spins, and came back at 58.20x. Why? Because a long chain reaction of cheap 9s and 10s is still just a bunch of cheap symbols.

The four pots on the grill definitely change the shape of the board, but they don't change the harsh reality of what it pays. If you loved the original, you'll like this. Just keep a close eye on your bankroll.
