About Gems Bonanza Slot
Colored markings hide behind symbols on the 8x8 grid. You won't see them until a winning cluster lands on their position - then the marking triggers one of five spin modifiers after the current tumble chain finishes. Blue marks fire the Nuclear modifier, which wipes the entire board and drops 64 fresh symbols. Pink activates Wild Gem, converting every instance of one random symbol type into Wilds. Brown places 2x2 blocks of identical symbols at random spots. Red drops a single massive block - 3x3, 4x4, or 5x5 - of one symbol type. Green scatters between 5 and 15 Wilds across the grid. If multiple marks trigger on the same spin, they play in that exact order: Nuclear first, Lucky Wilds last.
Gold Fever is the progressive bonus, and it runs on an explosion counter. Every symbol that disappears during tumbles across a single spin adds one point to the meter. Hit 114 points and Gold Fever activates - all five spin modifiers fire once, and every win during this phase carries a 2x multiplier. But the round doesn't stop there. Collect 116 more exploding symbols and Level 2 kicks in with a 4x multiplier. Level 3 needs 120, paying at 6x. Level 4 needs 125 at 8x. Level 5 needs 132 at 10x. The meter resets only when a tumble produces no winners, so each level is its own gauntlet of cluster chains feeding the next threshold. For 100x your bet, the buy option triggers Gold Fever immediately - though the level progression thresholds shift slightly higher in bought rounds.
Warm amber stone frames the grid like an ancient tablet, with a golden Aztec face medallion mounted to the right. Seven gem types fill the 64 positions - hexagonal red stones at the top of the paytable paying 1,000x for a 25+ cluster, down through green emeralds, blue diamonds, and smaller orange and pink stones at the bottom. Minimum cluster size is five connected gems, horizontally or vertically. No diagonals. The symbols themselves are chunky and faceted, catching teal and gold light from somewhere below the grid. Crystal Caverns Megaways uses a similar gem aesthetic but plays nothing like this - that one is Megaways paylines, this one is pure cluster math on a board twice the size.
