About Genie Wild Slot
Almost everything interesting about this one is locked behind three magic bottles. Land three or more of them anywhere and the Genie hands over ten free games, and that is where the expanding wilds show up. The blonde Genie symbol stretches to cover a whole reel, but the build limits her to reels 2, 3 and 4. So the outside reels never go fully wild, and there is no multiplier riding on top and no way to retrigger the round. What you get is wide central wild coverage feeding the 25 lines, which is plenty when the high symbols line up but caps the ceiling lower than newer wild games.
The base game is straightforward left-to-right line pays with the Genie standing in for everything except the bottle scatter. The monkey is the symbol you want, paying the most across five, with a treasure chest, a green emerald and a pot of fruit filling the next tier down before the card royals take over. Scatter bottles also pay on their own, multiplied by your total stake and added on top of any line hits, so a near-trigger that lands only on two bottles still hands back a small return. There is no buy option and no jackpot, which is normal for a Light & Wonder line slot from this era.
Visually it plays the Aladdin storybook angle hard. The reels sit on a cream parchment panel boxed in ornate gold scrollwork and red drapery, with the payline numbers running 1 to 25 down both edges. Symbols are bright and cartoonish: a cheeky monkey clutching a banana, an overflowing chest of gold coins, a glassy green emerald, jewels, and chunky card royals in patterned orange, purple and red. The Genie wild sits in a blue gem-studded frame, and the lamp scatter glows like it is about to grant a wish. If the expanding-reel idea appeals, the dedicated expanding wilds games push it further with multipliers and base-game triggers that this one skips.
