About Gold Splash: Toots Froots Slot
No wild. Not one, which for a 30-line fruit slot is odd on its own. Everything pays through two gem symbols instead. Gem Drops are cut-crystal stones that each carry a fixed cash amount, and they turn up anywhere, on top of a regular fruit or royal, or floating in the air above the grid. The pink Gold Splash is the collector. When a Gem Drop lands right on a Gold Splash, every Gem Drop sitting in the reel area cashes out at once, all their values banked in a single hit. Gems hanging wholly above the reels don't count, only the ones touching a position. And a big Gem Drop wide enough to cover two or more Gold Splash gems pays out all those gems again for each collector it sits on, so one oversized stone dropped across a pair of splashes doubles the collect.
The watermelon slice is the scatter. Land three or more anywhere and you get six Free Games, while those same three, four or five pay 1x, 10x or 50x total bet on the way in. Those spins are where the collect really opens up. Fresh Gem Drops keep falling, some of them giant, blanketing 2x2, 3x3 or 4x4 blocks of positions. And now they stick. Every new spin slides all of them one row further down the reels, and a gem only leaves when it drops off the bottom edge. So they pile up spin after spin, sliding onto the Gold Splash collectors as they go. Three more scatters mid-feature adds another six spins.
Then there's the Gem Splash Jackpot, the three banners across the top reading Minor, Major and Grand. Any spin, at any stake, can randomly earn entry to the jackpot game. A bigger bet lifts the odds, and more than one entry can fire on the same spin, but getting in isn't the same as winning. The jackpot game either hands you one of those three network progressives or a flat cash prize worth 10x, 15x, 20x, 30x, 50x or 100x total bet. The progressives are shared network pools, so they read as unavailable in the free demo.
Be honest about where the value sits. The straight line game is modest, its top paytable win landing somewhere around 337x (Playtech has never confirmed a figure), so the grapes, cherries and card royals aren't why you'd spin this. The sticky gem collect in Free Games and the jackpot game are. It's the same drop-onto-collector idea Rare Stone runs in Tree Wishes, just dressed for the desert: a sun-baked Egyptian bazaar, gold-edged reels between striped market awnings and palm-shadowed sandstone columns, a merchant's fruit-basket stall below and a chubby cartoon pharaoh watching over glossy purple grapes and a golden peach. The title's a pun, Toots as in Tutankhamun, froots as in the fruit.
