About Great Hook Hold & Win Slot

A cigar-chomping bulldog in a brown fedora and trenchcoat, lurking beside a moonlit cityscape. 1spin4win doesn't usually go for themed games like this - most of their catalog is fruit and gold coins against red velvet. But the detective noir skin works. Deep blues and warm golds dominate, with the reels set against dark crimson backgrounds and the city skyline glowing faintly on the left while a lit building entrance (looks like a bank) sits on the right. The bulldog detective appears as the premium symbol at 500x for five across, followed by a golden magnifying glass at 100x, silver handcuffs at 20x, and a badge or pistol at 10x. Card symbols fill the lower end at 8x each.

Two separate triggers run independently. Scatters award Bonus Spins - 7 for three, 10 for four, 15 for five - with enhanced coin collection during the round. Coins carry bet multiplier values (you can see one showing 40 on the reels during normal play) and landing three or more on any spin kicks off the Hold & Win bonus. Coins lock, you get three respins, and each new coin resets that counter. Fill all 15 positions and the Mega Jackpot pays 1,000x. There's also a Mini at 100x that triggers from its own special symbol during the bonus.

No buy bonus, no ante bet, no way to shortcut into either feature. The paytable gap between the detective at 500x and the magnifying glass at 100x is steep - five-to-one - so base game wins lean heavily on which symbol completes the line. And with wins paying left to right only across 243 ways, the detective landing on reel 5 (where he likes to sit in his little portrait frame) does nothing unless he's already on the first three reels too.
