About Green Light Slot
The free spins trigger is a race. Land three or more Green Light traffic scatters, and your car lines up against four rivals on the grid. Where you finish decides the prize: 1st takes 25 free spins, 2nd gets 20, then 15, 10, and 5 for last place. Every single free spin pays triple. And the blue Driver wild still doubles any combo it joins, so a wild-assisted line during the bonus pays x6 instead of x2. That stacking is the whole draw here - triple plus double, not triple or double.
Twenty paylines, both directions. Wins count left-to-right and right-to-left, which on a classic 5x3 layout means a three-of-a-kind on reels 3-4-5 pays the same as one on reels 1-2-3. The Driver wild (a chunky blue race car with Australian flag livery and a painted 40) subs for everything except the Green Light scatter. Five Drivers lined up on an active payline is the 10,000-coin top hit. The scatter doesn't pay anywhere near that, but it's the only way into the racing bonus, and it doesn't need to land on a line.
Speed Demon fires at random in the base game. When it triggers, one of the car symbols stretches to cover an entire reel - a temporary stacked effect that turns a single landing into three matched positions. There's also a fixed $10,000 random jackpot that drops without warning on any spin, win or no win. Some casino skins show it as a climbing dollar counter at the top of the grid (the demo showed around $1,101), but the RTG spec sheet lists the award as a flat $10,000.
Visually it's RTG circa 2007 and makes no attempt to hide it. Giant tilted checkered flag filling the background, polished silver chassis border around the reels, and card symbols (9 through A) in that retro-arcade yellow outline with multicoloured checkered fills - green, red, blue, pink, orange. Themed icons lean into the motorsport pageantry: Trophy Girl in a red dress, a champagne bottle mid-pop, a gold car-on-plinth trophy. Old engine, but the race-for-your-spins gimmick still has more personality than most of the free-spin rounds built since.
