About Invaders Takeover Slot
In Free Spins, the grid grows. Four new positions snap on above reels 2, 3, 4, and 5, turning the 6x4 base game into a stepped 6x5 layout and pushing the win count from 4,096 ways up to 10,000. The UFO wild, which only ever lands on reels 2-5, behaves differently up here. When one drops in during a free spin, it pays any wins first, then flies straight up into the new row above its reel and locks there until the feature ends. The interesting part is how they stack: every additional UFO that flies up onto the same reel adds a multiplier above it - 2 wilds becomes x2, 3 wilds becomes x3, and so on. Hit a winning combination that crosses two locked reels carrying x3 and x4, and those multipliers multiply against each other for x12, not x7.
Triggering it takes 3 portal scatters, and the spin count is decided by a pick. Each scatter that landed gives you one pick from three planets. The planet you choose explodes and reveals between 1 and 6 spins, and the totals from every pick are added together. A messy entry can still come in around 5 or 6 spins; a clean one stacks toward the top.
The base game has its own oddity, the Alien Attack Bonus. It only fires when exactly 2 scatters land, and only sometimes - the onboard computer either flashes "Threat Detected" or shrugs you off with "No Threat Detected." When it triggers, the 2 scatters turn into Bonus Wilds, then a laser gun strafes the grid and drops 3 to 5 extra wilds, including on reels 1 and 6, which under normal rules never carry wilds at all. It's the only way to get a wild on the outer reels.
The whole thing leans into B-movie alien-invasion comedy from the alien art direction down: a big-headed green scientist on one side, a cow being beamed up by a UFO on the other, neon spaceship interiors behind the symbols. There's also a Premium Play side-bet at 1.5x stake that opens a Space Wheel of multipliers and Free Spins wedges on bigger base-game hits, and a 5-step Gamble with twin dials for cash or free spins on any 5x win. Max win is capped at 14,596x.
