About It's Time Slot

Relax Gaming licensed Bruce Buffer for this one - the actual Octagon announcer, brother of Michael, the guy whose entire job is bellowing "IT'S TIME!" into a microphone before championship MMA fights. He's the central character on the splash and the namesake symbol on the reels, drawn in a chunky 90s cartoon style that looks more like a SNES brawler than a 2021 slot release. Four hairy, hulking fighters in trunks form the high-pays, beat-up card royals with torn corners cover the lows, and the whole 6x4 grid sits inside a chain-link octagon cage with stadium spotlights cutting through the haze behind it.

Three random base-game features fire without any scatter requirement. The Re-spin sticks symbols and respins around them for chains worth up to 500x stake. The Hot Spot lights up a section of the grid and converts every high-pay fighter symbol on the entire board into Wilds in one hit, which is the closest the base game gets to a guaranteed big payout. And the Buffer Bonus drops Bruce Buffer himself across the reels - the splash preview shows the grid almost completely overrun with him in his red tuxedo and gold bow tie, microphone in hand.

The Fighter Bonus is the only scatter-triggered round, needing 3 or more Bonus symbols to enter. Energy Multiplier symbols collected during the feature stack their values together rather than applying separately, and the round caps at 2,500x bet. That ceiling is modest by 2026 high-volatility standards, but Relax has compensated by making the random base features hit often enough that you're rarely waiting through dead spins. No buy bonus, no ante bet - the trigger comes when it comes.

What makes this one read strangely in the Relax catalogue is the art direction. The branded license could have gone polished and photoreal, the route most sportsbook tie-ins take. Instead it leans into deliberately crude cartoon proportions, faces drawn like Saturday morning fighting-game characters from 1995. Pair that with the respin chains and the Hot Spot wild conversions and it ends up playing tighter than the goofy aesthetic suggests.
