About Le Chocolatier Slot
The unusual thing about Le Chocolatier is how its two scatter symbols both pay coins and trigger separate bonuses. Most slots use one scatter for free spins and stop there. Here, every scatter you collect drops a coin reward (2, 8 or 100 times your total bet for three, four or five) on top of whatever bonus it opens, so even a brushed-past trigger pays before the feature begins.
The Free Spins scatter hands you 10, 20 or 30 spins from three, four or five hits, and 30 on a five-scatter trigger is on the high end for this engine. Wins inside the round get a flat doubling, and the round can retrigger if more scatters land. The Feature scatter opens a Pick a Prize round with a sliding pick count: three scatters lets you pick 1 prize from 3, four scatters lets you pick 2 from 4, five lets you pick 3 from 5. The Pick round can't fire during free spins, but the bet-proportional payouts mean a 5-scatter trigger at the $50 default is genuinely heavy.
The Wild is doing two jobs at once and that's where the math gets interesting. It self-pays as the top symbol on the paytable, 8,000 coins for five of a kind, with even a 2-of-a-kind hit returning 2 coins, which is rare in itself. And any payline win it joins as a substitute gets doubled. Stack that doubling with the in-bonus x2 and a Wild-heavy free spin pays at four times the base paytable rate. There's no buy bonus, no ante, no jackpot ladder; the whole game is built around those two scatters and the compounding Wild.
Visually it's a Parisian chocolate boutique rendered in a fully literal way. A sad-eyed mustachioed chef in whites stands behind a brass-framed display case to the right of the reels. A dark chocolate fountain bubbles on the left next to a tin of pink-and-white cake pops. Shelves carry purple-wrapped pralines, ribbon-tied gift boxes and a tidy pyramid of golden truffles. The reel symbols are confections rather than icons (gold-dusted truffles, a chili-pepper square, a heart-shaped chocolate with a pink flower, half a chocolate-dipped strawberry, espresso-bean pralines), and the royals are bent into chocolate-curl ribbons rather than printed letters. The cabinet runs 50 lines that you can step down to one if you want to, with a default bet of $50 sitting at 80% of the maximum, which is unusually aggressive out of the box. Older Genii build, simple skeleton, but the dual-scatter design is the part worth knowing before you spin.
