About Loony Blox Slot

Three characters live outside the reels. An elephant in a red shirt and roller skates, a wolf, and a rabbit each shuffle along their own numbered map track on the cabinet around the 5x3 grid. Every paid spin advances each character one position. Each track has feature dots at specific positions, and when a character lands on one of theirs their ability activates for that spin. The elephant turns wilds into expanding full-reel wilds. The wolf flips wins to pay both directions on the 243 ways instead of left-to-right only. The rabbit links reels 2 through 5 into a single synchronized strip. So the ability mix changes spin by spin depending on which characters reached their dots, and you can spend a long run with no abilities at all, then suddenly land all three simultaneously.

That triple landing is the trigger. When all three characters sit on feature dots together, the Map Feature awards 12 free games with all three abilities active at once. Expanding wilds, both-ways pays, and the synced reels 2-to-5 strip stack across every spin of the round for the whole 12. That's the only path into free games - no scatter count, no separate trigger symbol, just the character-track convergence. There's no buy-bonus shortcut and no ante-bet here, which means the trigger frequency is whatever the natural track movement gives you.

The reels themselves are carved sandstone slabs sitting in a deep desert canyon. Red mesa rock walls rise behind the cabinet, scrub cacti fringe the foreground, and a faint trail map is pinned to the ground beside the elephant's track marker. The symbol mix is unusual for the theme - classic fruit-machine icons inside the stone tiles (cherries, lemons, plums, a golden bell with a pink ribbon, a chunky BAR plaque) sit next to small cartoon versions of the three track characters as the premiums. The mismatch between desert-explorer framing and old-school fruit symbols gives the game its name. Card royals are stamped onto the same carved sandstone blocks in chunky cartoon lettering, no thin lines anywhere.

Two random progressives sit overhead. A Grand counter shows a four-digit euro value at the top right of the grid, and a Minor pool runs underneath in three digits. Both drop on any paid spin without a symbol requirement, and they're a separate award path from the base game's 4,864x ceiling. The Gamble button after every base win offers the standard Habanero card-color or suit double-up risk, the same risk widget that's run across the studio's catalog for a decade. The game tracks all this state across sessions, so the character positions persist - you don't reset to zero every visit, you pick up wherever the previous run left off. Add progressive jackpot watching on top of the mechanic loop and the round can run several different ways.
