Base game runs its own smaller ladder. x1 to x2 to x3 to x5, triggered by consecutive cascade wins, reset every spin. The 1,024 ways structure with tumbling symbols gives you enough chain wins to actually reach the higher rungs on a good spin. Reels 2, 3, and 4 can land Gold Mahjong tiles, which stay inert until they contribute to a win, then they convert to Wilds for the next cascade drop. Stack a couple of Golds on adjacent reels during a long chain and you get both the multiplier climb and fresh Wild coverage simultaneously.

Buy Bonus sits at 100x bet top-left in a red panel, skip the scatter hunt and buy a random FG entry outright. What you don't get is any control: the random selection still applies, so spending 100x can draw the 5-spin Sprint just as easily as Marathon. No way to target a preferred combo.
