About Merlin's Money Burst Slot
The reel block is the unusual part. Reels one and two are split into small 2x2 cells (1A, 1B, 2A, 2B), while reels three, four and five run taller, and that little four-cell pocket on the left drives the whole game. Land four matching symbols across those cells, wilds included, and they hold while five re-spins play out. During the re-spins Merlin can enchant up to six symbols on the right-hand reels into wilds before they land, so the held block keeps feeding fresh chances at a full-grid hit.
Scatters on reels three, four and five handle the bigger features. Three of them open 10 free games, where Merlin instead turns up to nine symbols wild after the reels stop, and the round can retrigger for more. The standout is Wild Spins: fill that 2x2 block with four matching symbols on the same spin that three scatters land, and the left reels are replaced entirely by held wilds for 10 spins, or 20 if all four cells were already wild on the trigger. With the left side locked wild and Merlin enchanting the right, that's the mode where the screen fills up.
A SuperBet ante sits alongside it all, raising the multiplier on every Merlin wild win from x2 up to x10 for an extra stake. The setting is a moonlit enchanted forest in teal and purple, glowing crystals and mushrooms in the foreground, the wizard's logo pulsing top-left. Win any amount and you can send it to a gamble card for red, black or suit. If the split-reel respins idea appeals, this is one of the more involved versions of it.
