About Miami Dice Slot

Roll the dice. That is the bit Miami Dice does that nothing else in the Genii catalog tries: when the Crockett-style detective lands on reel 1 and the Tubbs-style partner stands fully in view on reel 5, the reels freeze and a casino floor menu opens with a pair of dice in hand. The total you roll picks which of four mini-games you actually play. Two or three sends you to a Wheel of Fortune for a multiplier pull. Four through six drops you onto a simplified roulette table where one ball decides the prize. Seven through nine deals a hand of blackjack against an auto-playing dealer (hit under 17, stand at 17 or over) and pays only if you beat the house. Ten through twelve loads a three-reel mini slot inside the bigger slot, where three of a kind cashes out. So one trigger, four completely different bonus paths, decided by physics rather than choice.

The character pair is positional, not a scatter count, so the trigger is harder to manufacture than the standard "any three reels" rule, and the Wild deliberately cannot cover for either of them. In fact the Wild here excludes three separate symbols (both detectives and the Free Spins scatter), which is one more than most slots block, and it is what keeps that signature casino bonus trigger from becoming trivial.

Free Spins are the simpler side of the game and they land on alternating reels only, the scatter has to drop on reels 1, 3 and 5 specifically, and the reward is a flat 10 spins regardless of how many scatters appeared. No 3-for-10, 4-for-15 ladder. Every win during the round pays double, except for anything you trigger off the casino mini-bonuses (those keep their original payouts), and the round can retrigger from inside itself.

The backdrop is a postcard of South Beach at dusk. Pink-and-purple sky bleeding into a flat calm ocean, dolphins arcing out of the water on the left, the Miami skyline glowing on the right with a lit causeway bridge running into it, palm fronds drooping into frame from both sides. The themed line symbols are exactly what the soundtrack hinted at, a red Testarossa-style sports car, a speedboat cutting across blue water, a detective badge, aviator sunglasses, a chunky 80s flip phone, with A, K, Q, J, 10 in a chunky neon font handling the lower pays. The logo at the top spells "MIAMI" in icy chrome blue and "DICE" in hot pink with two pink dice flanking it, and a black silhouette convertible parked underneath. The whole presentation is Miami Vice without ever saying the words, and the engine underneath is the deepest bonus tree in any Versa Phaser cabinet so far.
