About Miami Multiplier Slot
Neon tube outlines on a dark brick wall. Palm trees glow green, cherries pulse red, dolphins shimmer cyan, and a watermelon slice sits half-eaten in pink and green light. No grid borders, no character animations - symbols hang on the wall like signs in a Miami bar after midnight. It is one of the early POCKETZ titles from Hacksaw, built compact and stripped to a single idea.
That idea is the running multiplier. Multiplier symbols land as scatters anywhere on the grid, and each one adds +1 to a counter displayed in the logo above the reels. Whatever you win on that spin gets multiplied by the total. In base play the counter resets every round, which keeps individual hits modest - Palm Tree pays 6x for four of a kind, and most symbols sit below 0.25x for three. But the 8-spin or 15-spin bonus (you can buy either directly) carries the multiplier forward. It never resets between free spins. Land two multiplier symbols on spin one, another three on spin four, and by spin six you are playing at 5x minimum on every winning combination. The cap is 60x, and at that level even mid-tier symbol hits start stacking fast across 256 ways.
The paytable is thin. Nine symbols, and six of them pay under 0.2x for three of a kind. Without multiplier symbols landing, base game spins produce almost nothing. Free spins without early multiplier builds feel the same way. The game depends entirely on how quickly that counter climbs, which gives the bonus round a momentum that most neon-styled slots from this era don't have. Once the counter passes 20x or so, every spin with a Palm Tree four-of-a-kind combination is a 120x hit before you count any other lines filling in alongside it.
