Mummy's Jewels 100 builds its entire base game around one mechanic: Money symbols with random values land on reels 2-5, and Collect or Super Collect symbols on reel 1 scoop them up. Regular Collect grabs all adjacent Money symbols and pays their combined value. Super Collect does the same but slaps on a random multiplier - x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x8, x10, x15, x25, or x100. That x100 is new for this version and didn't exist in the original Mummy's Jewels.
Money symbol values range from 10x to 1,500x the base bet for regular prizes. Five jackpot tiers sit on top of that: MINI (12x total bet), MINOR (25x), MAJOR (300x), MEGA (1,000x), and GRAND (10,000x). All five are progressive, funded by a slice of every bet across the player pool.
The color-coded Wild system drives the features. Purple Wild lands only on reel 2, Red only on reel 3, Green only on reel 4. Each substitutes for standard symbols as expected, but the real purpose is triggering specific features when collected.
Purple triggers UPGRADE. A prize wheel above the reels gets random slices bumped up by 50x to 1,000x base bet, then spins once for a direct payout. Red triggers RESPINS, spinning a separate wheel that awards 5 to 100 respins. During respins, only Money symbols and blanks appear on reels 2-5 while Collect and Super Collect rotate on reel 1. Each collected Money symbol gets a random multiplier (x2 to x10) applied before payout. Green triggers EXTRA, adding 1 to 3 pointers on the prize wheel before it spins, meaning multiple segments pay out at once.
Land two or three Wilds of different colors and the features combine. Purple plus Green means the wheel gets upgraded values AND extra pointers. Red plus Purple upgrades the respins wheel with additional spins before it awards. All three together stack everything - upgraded slices, extra pointers, the full combination. These combos are where the math can spike hard.
The original Mummy's Jewels capped at 10,000x. This version triples that to 30,000x (excluding jackpots). Same theme, same base mechanics, same jackpot tiers - but Super Collect multipliers now reach x100 instead of x10, and the respins wheel can award up to 100 spins.
Whether tripling the cap matters depends on perspective. The odds of hitting 30,000x sit at 1 in roughly 20.9 million spins. For the original's 10,000x, those odds were considerably better. More ceiling means wider variance and longer dry stretches between significant hits. Pragmatic Play's "100" branding consistently signals a higher-stakes rework rather than a fundamentally new game.
Two buy options. 50x total bet triggers the Respins feature, randomly combined with UPGRADE, EXTRA, or both. 200x total bet triggers Super Bonus - guaranteed Respins where only Super Collect symbols appear on reel 1, so every collection gets the enhanced multiplier range. At the default $2.25 bet, that is $112.50 and $450 respectively.
The 200x Super Bonus is the intended path to the higher multipliers. Without Super Collect's x100 potential and guaranteed appearance, reaching the 30,000x territory from a standard respins trigger requires an improbable alignment of high-value Money symbols, multiple collections, and persistent luck across dozens of spins.
The visual direction leans into a cartoon Egyptian aesthetic - Anubis, Bastet, scrolls, ankh crosses, a friendly-looking mummy mascot with the Eye of Horus. The prize wheel dominates the top half of the screen, color-coded to match the Wild features. It works. The art stands out from Pragmatic Play's usual Egyptian offerings like John Hunter or Scarab Queen, which tend toward a more serious tone.
243 ways to win on a 5x3 grid, $0.15 to $240 bet range, 96.50% RTP at the top tier. Hit frequency runs at about 1 in 3.37 spins, so the base game returns something roughly 30% of the time. For a high-volatility slot, that keeps sessions from feeling completely dead between feature triggers. Free spins - or rather, respins - trigger about once every 201 spins naturally, or whenever you buy in.
