About Nine Tails Slot

The Kitsune girl on the right side of the cabinet does more than decorate. She's a shape-shifting nine-tailed fox spirit from Japanese folklore, and the bonus round is a slow accumulation of her tails toward a prize ladder. Scatters award free games in stepped allocations of 7, 27, or 57 spins, and the round can re-trigger if more scatters land while it runs. Inside the round, every winning spin adds either 7 or 77 cash to her tail counter, and the character cycles through three escalating color variants as she gains tails. By the time all nine sit behind her, the prize multiplier has stacked to its top tier, which is the path to the 46,865x cap.

The base game runs 259 connected ways on a square 5x5, with adjacency rules deciding which symbol matches register as a win read. The wild and scatter both come in three tiers each, which is unusual for the studio and tends to mean trigger paths layer (a tier-1 scatter on its own won't open the round, but a mix of tiers can complete the trigger count). The kitsune-fox symbol is the top-pay, and the rest of the premiums are koi fish, lotus, sakura, kimono, and lantern icons sitting on jewelled crest-style stones. No card royals. No buy-in. Two random progressives sit overhead and can fire on any paid spin without a symbol requirement, currently a Grand near 9,000 EUR and a Minor in the double digits in the demo build.

One unusual touch sits in the operator settings: Nine Tails ships with a four-tier return selector that a casino can configure on the back end. The published spread runs nearly six points from floor to ceiling, with the baseline default sitting near the middle of the four tiers and the top option above it. Which tier the casino actually serves is on the operator, not the player, so the version you load isn't necessarily the highest one published. Worth checking the info screen before sitting down for a longer session.

Visually the cabinet sits inside a torii-gate frame in cinnabar-red lacquer, a full silver moon rising behind black bamboo silhouettes, hydrangeas blooming at the foot of the grid, and the symbol blocks rendered as glowing flame icons in green, orange, magenta, and blue, each one cradling a temple bell-pendant in gold. The NINE TAILS wordmark up top wears a brushstroke calligraphy font with a tail-curl ornament. It's one of the prettier Asian-folklore cabinets in the studio's catalog.
