Propaganda's core mechanic is a checkpoint multiplier. Every winning symbol adds +1 to the total multiplier. It stays active through the entire avalanche chain. Never resets during a round. And in the bonus, it persists between free drops. A standard bonus that starts at x1 can reach x50 or x100 by the final free drop, because every winning symbol across every drop keeps pushing it higher.
The multiplier applies to all winning clusters, not just the one that built it. So a cluster of 5 low-value symbols late in a bonus round might pay more than a cluster of 15 high-value symbols on the first drop, just because the multiplier has been climbing for 20 drops straight.
Three wild mechanics feed into each other. Wild Generation: every winning cluster creates a new wild symbol in one of the empty spaces after the cluster explodes. Wild Merge: if multiple wilds end up in the same winning cluster, they combine into a multiplier wild with their values added together. Wild Split: if a multiplier wild connects to multiple clusters simultaneously, it splits between them.
The cycle works like this. Win. Cluster explodes. Wild appears. Next avalanche, that wild helps form a new cluster. New cluster generates another wild. If both wilds end up in the same cluster next round, they merge into a x2 multiplier wild. That merged wild then multiplies its cluster's payout before the total checkpoint multiplier applies on top. Two separate multiplier layers stacking.
Wild Strike fires randomly, replacing symbols across the grid with wilds or multiplier wilds. Super Wild Strike is the enhanced version that only places multiplier wilds. Neither replaces bonus symbols or existing wilds.
The Super Bonus triggers when a Super Bonus symbol lands alongside 2 regular bonus symbols. Or it can happen mid-bonus: landing a Super Bonus symbol during a regular bonus upgrades it. The key difference is that Super Bonus guarantees a Super Wild Strike at the start of every free drop. Each drop begins with multiplier wilds already on the grid, feeding straight into the wild generation cycle.
X-iter runs from 2x (Bonus Hunt, roughly doubled trigger chance) through 10x (single Wild Strike drop) to 500x (full Super Bonus with guaranteed Super Wild Strike every drop). Hit frequency is 22.1%, and the 10,000x cap is standard for mid-era ELK titles. The dystopian theme wraps the checkpoint multiplier in visual language: a literal checkpoint gate on the grid, hooded figures, barbed wire. Each spin builds toward something even when individual clusters pay small, because that multiplier counter keeps climbing.
