About Queen of Queens II Slot
The math here is fixed and unusual for its era. A 5x4 grid running 4 symbols on every reel produces 4^5 = 1024 active paths each spin, no Megaways-style row expansion at all. Hits resolve as adjacent-reel matches from reel 1 rightward, the way symbols line up vertically on each reel doesn't matter for the count, only that the matching icon appears at any position on the next reel over. That gives the base game a much higher trigger frequency than a standard 25-line cabinet at the same paytable, and it's why Habanero priced the spin at 50 coins rather than the more typical 25 coins for an old-protocol release.
The free games round is where the design earns its keep. Three or more Scatter Urns trigger 8 free spins, and the round modifies the reel makeup directly: 16 additional bonus Wilds are stamped onto reels 2 through 5 for the duration of the round, biasing every spin toward Cleopatra-Wild substitutions across the right four columns. There's no retrigger and no multiplier ramp, the value comes entirely from the Wild density. The scatter Urn also pays directly on a count, up to 100x the total bet when five land scattered across the grid.
Two random progressive jackpots ride along on every paid spin. Both are pure random triggers, no symbol combination required, with the Grand pot displayed at the top of the cabinet and a smaller Minor pot ticking next to it. The original 2014 build shipped with this two-tier setup, and unlike Habanero's later catalog the cabinet was never retrofitted onto the cross-game Jackpot Race network. The Gamble feature is the other holdover: a standard card-double-up after any base-game win, with no streak cap visible in the interface.
Visually it's archetypal Egyptian-themed casual slot from the mid-2010s. The pyramids sit washed in sunset orange behind the reels, the wordmark uses a chunky gold-relief font common across Habanero's earliest releases, and the symbol set runs a tier of Egyptian iconography (a green-feathered Horus falcon, a turquoise-collared sacred cat, a winged scarab) over a mid-pay tier of jeweled rings, lotus pendants, and color-coded gemstones in red, purple, and pink. The cabinet frames the grid with sandstone columns carved with hieroglyphs, and the 1024 WAYS legend runs vertically down each side. It predates the original Queen of Queens in the catalog by roughly fifteen months despite the II suffix, a quirk of Habanero's early naming where the 1024-ways variant launched first and the slim payline version followed.
